The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Interior Design Association holds an annual competition for its members to recognize design excellence, to encourage new ideas and techniques, and to build public awareness in the field of interior design. Previously, entry submission was a cumbersome process involving paper forms, snail mail, and CDs with large image files.
I created a website for the purpose of storing all the information about the competition in one convenient location, and, more importantly, collecting the entry submissions electronically in an extremely complex, yet functional online form. Now all the entries are emailed to the committee head and are stored in an online database. The large images that used to be sent in on CDs are now submitted through the same entry form, and stored on the website’s server for easy retrieval by the committee.
As always, this site was built with standards-compliant HTML and CSS. This site is also mobile-friendly.
