What I do

I complete a wide range of assignments when I’m asked, but my favorites are complete web packages, email marketing, and print design (I sometimes do other stuff, too). I generally bill on a project basis, but in certain instances when it makes sense, I charge hourly. Contact me for rates.

No matter what the type of work, the process is basically the same. We begin with a phone call to discuss the specifics of the project or projects that interest you. Once all questions are answered, I will send you a formal proposal outlining all the details and fees. I require a signed contract and 50% deposit before beginning any work. The balance is due when the project is complete or approved to print.

Once we begin, we’ll be in close contact throughout the project. My preferred method of communication is email (for its efficiency and so I don’t have to take notes), but I’m also happy to chat with you on the phone, and if you’re in the Baltimore area, we can have a face-to-face for a large assignment. I often use Skype (with its screen-sharing tool) for training clients to use WordPress (CMS for websites) or the Create Send email campaign tool.

“Lauren and I worked together on a website development project. I couldn’t have asked for it too have gone smoother — from wireframe to launch. She considers the client’s needs and works very well collaboratively within a team environment. Lauren’s work is creative, smart, and efficient, and work ethic highly professional. I have no doubt we’ll be working on future projects together.”
